Motel Capri, San Francisco

The Motel Capri in the marina district offers the perfect home base from which to discover the city of San Francisco. It is so conveniently located, we usually prefer to leave the car at the hotel parking lot and walk over to the nearby bus station. Only a couple of minutes later, we are dropped off downtown. The rooms are not too fancy, but hey – it’s a motel and not a holiday resort. Everything is so clean you can even smell it. There are a couple of traditional motels with beautiful neon signs in the area to discover on a stroll, maybe after you had dinner at Mel’s diner which is only two blocks away.
