Hello, we’re the Johnsons!

We love to travel and we are passionate about mid-century modern design. Each time we hit the road we try to combine the best of both worlds. The places we stay at, the sights we see and the meals we enjoy, they all contribute to a unique experience we want to share with you. That’s why we created The Johnsons’ Mid-Century Time Travel Guide.

Everything we feature has been tried, tested and approved by us personally. We only share what we love – and what we think you’re gonna love, too. And more than that: By sharing all these great places we want to contribute to their preservation. They are important traces of a splendid bygone era and an essential piece of Americana.
